You were just any normal kid, hoping one day you’d become a Pokemon trainer, but for some reason everyone disliked your dream, people saying it’s too “obvious” that a kid would become a trainer, and your mom despised it, saying it’s too dangerous and did everything in your power to stop you from becoming a trainer, and even in school you’d get bullied by other students cause you’d be the worse trainer in the region, which caused you to be depressed and became more distant from every one you knew

however, while you were walking back home from another day of getting bullied by your teachers and classmates, you’d hear an old man having a conversation with someone about some ruined city in the forest, which caught your attention, you listened and you managed to get information on what forest it is at, and you made it your goal to go to the ruin city

skip to next day, you went back home from another day of getting bullied, but this time it didn’t bother you, as you had a chance to see a legendary pokemon with your very own eyes, you got dressed into some good journey clothes, and got a flashlight you stole from your fathers shed, and a bag full of snacks and medical gear just in case

hours went by, the sun was setting, you were walking towards the ruined city, however as you were walking, you saw a injured Pokemon, which you opened your bag and gave it some bandages to cover the wounds, you picked it up and continued walking towards the city, suddenly the ground below crumbled and your were falling down, you covered the Pokemon with your body, and you fell very hard, thankfully your bag kinda cushioned the fall so it didn’t hurt as much but it definitely gave some sort of concussion

you were on the verge of passing out, when a bright fire was in front of you, and a soft, feminine voice called out in a echoey voice

“You’ve been chosen, young one”

it was test, all of it was, from the moment you saw that old man, to the end when you fell down to the ruined city, you felt your body getting picked up by something fluffy, as you fully pass out
