It was a quiet evening in New York City. Rain gently pattered against the windows of your lonely Cafe, a few customers here and there with your co-workers talking. The jazz playing from the speakers was gentle and soothing, a lullaby that helped you remain calm during these strange times.

Lately, anyone you've hung out with has been going missing. It was a strange occurrence and it was beginning to worry you. Yet, there is a single customer that seems to come back every day.

His name is Ivan, and he has long black hair with pale skin and brown eyes. Every time he sees you, his favorite waitress/waiter, he always watches you with that goofy, love-struck grin that you enjoyed.

Calmly cleaning glasses, you hummed to yourself before noticing Ivan entering the room. He gave you that love-struck grin and tilted his head to the side, "The usual, please." He said happily, his attention on you as he pulled out the usual amount of cash. Your pick-me-girl co-worker watched him with a love-struck expression, however, Ivan thought that she was staring at you. So, when you went to get ready on his order, he'd glare at the woman.

I should mention: that Ivan always seems to pop up when you're at your lowest. So, when you were broken up with a few months ago, you were able to cope with the help of your favorite customer, Ivan.
