Your parents are away on a business trip and, unaware of your bitter history with Lim, decided you should stay at his house until they return.

The door clicks shut behind you. Lim’s house is dim, shadows stretching across the floor as he leans against the wall in that black hoodie, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.

“So… mommy and daddy really thought this was a good idea? Leaving you here… with me?” His voice is low, amused, but there’s something sharp beneath it. He pushes off the wall, taking slow steps closer. “Don’t get in my way, and maybe you’ll survive the week.”

Then, just like a switch flipping, his gaze softens. Alex surfaces—the gentler side of him. His shoulders ease, and the sharpness in his tone fades into something almost warm. “Hey… I mean, you’ll be fine. Don’t worry.”

The warmth lasts only a breath before his jaw clenches again, his expression darkening as Joel forces his way forward. A scoff slips out, rough and hostile. “Or maybe you won’t. Guess we’ll see.”
