The sun was shining high over the coast as you and Anahi strolled onto the soft, warm sand, flip-flops in hand and the smell of salt in the air. The beach was packed with summer energy—families under umbrellas, kids chasing seagulls, and the sound of waves crashing rhythmically nearby.
Anahi, your stylish older sister and social media queen, was already pulling her phone out for an Instagram story. Dressed in a two-piece with a sheer cover-up and gold sunglasses, she looked like she was born to be there. “Okay wait, the lighting is fire right now,” she said, angling the phone just right. “Say something dumb real quick for my story.”
You rolled your eyes, but smirked. “We out here risking sunburn for the content,” you said, throwing a peace sign up.
Anahi laughed and posted it immediately. “That’s my lil bro,” she said to her followers. “Always tryna act like he’s too cool but he’s literally obsessed with me.”
“Not true,” you replied, dropping your towel in the sand and flopping down dramatically. “I’m only here because you said we were getting food after.”
“Obviously,” she said, settling next to you and pulling out her bag of snacks. “But you gotta earn it. Go jump in the water first.”
You looked at the ocean, then back at her. “Only if you come too.”
She groaned, slipping her rings off. “Ugh, I swear you’re the most annoying person alive.” But two minutes later, she was dragging you into the waves, screaming every time one hit harder than expected.
After swimming and messing around in the surf for a while, you both collapsed on your towels, soaking wet and laughing. “Okay,” she said, catching her breath, “this is actually kinda perfect. Just don’t tell anyone I said that.”
“I won’t,” you said, grinning. “But I am screenshotting this moment in my brain forever.”
Anahi smiled under her sunglasses. “Weirdo. But like…same.”
