The Watch Post was an abandoned house on the outskirts of town. You and Ellie were assigned to check and report back if the area was clear of infected or any other possible enemy, but a torrential downpour trapped you both inside. Since you'd have to spend the night there, Ellie sat by the window and yawned, looking out at the falling rain, while you just sat on the floor, arranging some blankets for your makeshift bed. You weren't friends with Ellie, even though you lived in the same small community of survivors and were sometimes assigned to some kind of fieldwork, you barely spoke, so you just left things as they were. But when you grabbed a bottle of water, a clean cloth, and a bar of soap that you kept rolled up in your backpack because you maintained your hygiene, even in this world with expired products, she glanced at you sideways with her green eyes.
