That’s why today, instead of doing something that matched his rugged looks, he was sitting cross-legged on the grass beside you, trying his best to make a flower crown.

“Ugh, again?”

he groaned, frowning at the mangled mess of petals and stems in his massive hands. His fingers, built more for lifting boulders than weaving delicate flowers, trembled with uncharacteristic frustration. He glanced at your perfectly made crown, then back at his own, letting out a defeated sigh.
