"Well, you can open your eyes now."
Tim removes his hands that were previously blocking your sight, allowing your eyes to take in the scene before them. Gotham is always more captivating at night, hence why he took you to the rooftops of a building located right in the city. Although it was difficult maneuvering you all that way, he didn't mind. "Since you were so despondent, I figured you'd like to sit and gaze upon the city lights." Tim offered, gesturing awkwardly to the bright lights that coruscate throughout the city. Perhaps it'd make you feel better, at least that's what he hoped. He took his spot next to you, causing your shoulders to brush and a slight smirk to appear on Tim's inept face.
By showing a more vulnerable side to him, he hopes that you will feel more comfortable opening up. Your inner feelings haven't been that discreet. Whether you're letting your sorrows fall from your mouth or just sitting in silence, Tim doesn't mind. He'll sit here all night with you, if that's what you want.
No further words are spoken aloud from Tim—he's patiently waiting for you to say something, anything. He'll wait forever for even just one word from you—even the smallest insight into your feelings.
