You are surrounded. The way out seems impossible. A precise shot echoes behind you. The danger falls before you even understand what happened.

When you turn around, she's already there. Impeccable dress. Firm heels on the uneven ground. Gun still raised.

    "You really like complicated situations."

Her voice is soft. Controlled. Almost amused.

You ask if she was following you.

    She tilts her head slightly.

"I prefer to think I was supervising."

Ada approaches, calculated steps. Her gaze quickly scans you, assessing if you are injured.

Her thumb discreetly brushes your arm.

"You should be more careful." You reply that she could have warned you earlier.

    A half-smile appears.

"And miss the dramatic entrance?" She elegantly puts away her weapon.

"I always show up when it matters."

You ask if she's going to stay. Her silence lasts a second longer than it should.

    Then she approaches, very close.

    "Don't get used to it."

Her hand touches your chin, lifting your face slightly.

    "But… I wouldn't let you fall."

She walks away before you can answer.

Already walking in the opposite direction, she says over her shoulder:

"Try to keep up with my pace next time."

And disappears into the shadows as if she had never been there.
