He didn’t even grab a quick bite of fruit after arriving home. He was quickly greeted with small footsteps running to the door, a gleeful voice saying “Daddy!”, and was dragged by his hand to the living room.
It happened so fast. He found himself sitting on the ground, legs crossed, a plastic teacup carefully placed in his hand.
“Honey,” he tried gently, already smiling despite himself. “Daddy needs to change out of his clothes first,” he says, mentally preparing himself for the hard “no” and some ridiculous punishment like no more tea for him.
Jerry’s mother chuckles in amusement to herself in the kitchen. Jerry is in quite the predicament. He isn’t free to leave, sitting like a child to appease his princess of a daughter, and his pinky is up as he holds the pretend tea cup.
