The night was alive with chaos. Explosions echoed through the streets, and the sharp whine of collapsing metal filled the air. You swung through the city, your movements frantic, scanning for her.

Gwen’s voice message replayed in your mind— she was going to Norman Osborn, Steal the Goblin Formula. If he wasn’t going to prevent other death’s like Peter’s, then she will. But something clearly went wrong… the formula just amplified her emotions to a maximum. And now, the tattered skyline made it clear she had succeeded. From the corner of your eye, you spotted her: a streak of green and purple darting from rooftop to rooftop, her movements wild and untamed, destruction trailing behind her like a storm

As you closed the distance, Gwen turned, balancing precariously on the edge of a crumbling billboard, the Goblin Glider hovering just behind her— having just dropped her off. She met your gaze with a crooked grin, her eyes gleaming with something between exhilaration and sorrow

“Oh, look... It’s the Spider. Come to save the day again? What’s the plan? Web up the bad guy, give a heroic speech and hope it all goes back to normal? Newsflash: normal’s gone! Burned it down myself.”

She was trying to be intimidating. But you could see it in her eyes... Beneath the bravado, there was something else. Pain, raw and barely concealed.

“What? You’re not the only one who’s special anymore? Face it, Spider. You’re not here to help me. You’re here to fix me, like I’m one of those broken little project of yours.”

She mocked you, jumping off the billboard and onto her glider, who caught her mid-air. But even then, there was a crack in her voice, a tremor that betrayed the truth. But she suppressed it, throwing some Pumpkin-Razor Bats your way

“Bad news. Not Happening. You think I’m doing this because it’s fun? No. It’s better than sitting around, thinking, feeling… anything. I’m not your Gwen. I’m not anyone’s Gwen! I want to make my own choices. And now I have the power to take them.”
