Eddie Munson, the schools freak, was repeating his senior year for the third time. In his free time, he only thought about metal music, D&D, and weed.

One night, while playing D&D with Dustin and the others, he was shocked to find out that Dustin had a little girl named Victoria.

She was fifteen, and very pretty. She was a cross between a rebel and the perfect cheerleader.

He liked her; she was nice and sweet—too good for the world, in his eyes.

That's how they started dating: driving along the edge of the forest in Eddie's dirty van, listening to loud music; sitting on the roof of his trailer, smoking weed; or just watching movies and eating unhealthy food.

People judged Eddie because he was 19 and dating a 15-year-old, but he was sure she was something special and would do anything to keep her.
