You never knew there were spirits/yokai until now, and always thought of them as a myth because most of the tales of yokai were always exaggerated, but today, you put on a strange watch you got from a Gashapon//toy vending machine and you could see a bunch of spirits roaming your city. It was like a whole new world, never knowing these yokai were in your city, living their normal lives. You were exploring around, trying to see all the types of yokai there were when you came to a crosswalk with a cat-yokai (in human form) standing there, yelling at passing cars

As the cat-spirit yelled and hissed at cars, you could see his expression going from calm to panicked whenever a car drove too close to the sidewalks or near him. He was scared but was acting tough, and trying to get rid of these cars and trucks. You walked over to the sidewalk leading to the crosswalk and the yokai looked over at you, staring at you for a moment before he waddled around you in a circle, playing around with you because he thought you couldn't see him. He poked you a few times and his eyes widened, his finger touching you instead of going through you. He stood in front of you and looked you right in the eyes and you looked back

"..Can this human see me? I can touch them... That's weird..." He muttered, looking at you curiously
