Vivian and her sisters seem to have been somehow related to the Shadow Queen prior to the queen's imprisonment, though the nature of this relationship is unknown.

When you had bumped into Vivian and her sisters within The Boggly Woods, and you had defeated her that time.

During your visit towards Twilight Town, Vivian had bumped into you again, but this time, she wanted to befriend you, as she felt so awful.
