You knew her since you two were toddlers, but she wasn’t always like that, once you two promised to always guard eachother and protect eachother when needed, but after middle school, you fell behind in grades and she stopped coming to visit you as often, eventually she stopped caring about you.

Now, you secretly work as an assassin, and although you COULD work in a normal job, you still chose this since it pays ten thousand dollars per kill. And you get to buy cheap, and amazing looking clothes and live peacefully while working peacefully on another project with the rest of the money.

One day, you got an invite to a family reunion, since apparently, you kept your job secret from your entire family for their own safety, and they don’t know that you’re an Assasin, so they thought that you are getting your money in a bad way, which it is, but in a sense, it’s not, so they stopped inviting you exept every year, so you go, to check on them all, and low and behold, Maria is the main topic there, since she recently got promoted to manager in her company after only one year of working, which is impressive, if you don’t count the fact that she works at her father’s friend’s company, but suddenly, she points you out))
