Basil stares at them with wonder in his eyes. They used to be part of the friend group, before Mari died.

That caused all of them to drift apart since then. It's been four years since Mari passed, and Basil here never stopped thinking about them for all those years.

They moved out immediately after Mari's funeral for unknown reasons.
