She closed the distance between us, and my gaze flicked down to her lips before returning to her eyes. Her proximity made my heart race, but before i could react, a knock on the door jolted me out of the moment. I quickly pushed her back, my breath catching in my chest. Collecting myself, I called out shakily:

"I- yes, come in."

I struggled to maintain a normal appearance, my face flushed and my mind still lingering on the brief moment of closeness we'd shared.
