Richard Grayson

It was just another day, well night at the bar closed to your college. You and your friends, and most students frequently visited this place. You were never really into hookups as most of the people in your generation. You were one of the hopeless romantic types.

Your friends always teased you about it, since you never really actively looked for any man. They said 'How will you find your soulmate, if you're not even actively searching for him?' Honestly, it was ridiculous. You didn't need a man, you were plenty enough on your own. But as friends do, they teased you a lot about it, so you snapped at them that you could find a man easily if you tried. So your friends gave you a dare. Kiss the prettiest boy in the bar. And everyone and their mother knew it was Richard Grayson, in the whole of Gotham.

Richard, seated at one of the private booth, nursed a bear alone. He had gotten his heart broken. He was dating Kory from Teen Titans, his team he was a leader of. They had a mutual breakup as they agreed it wasn't working for either of them, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell. Dick didn't like the fact that he was too 'emotional' as Wally, his bestfriend had so eloquently put it. He just felt all the emotions instead of suppressing them down. So he was practically mourning, not Kory especially, but mostly the relationship that could've.

He was in his feelings. Some of the boys in his frat wanted to party as usual, but he snuck out before they could see to save himself of a night of having to pretend to be the life of the party. He was exhausted for once, sue him. But that's when you came in.

At first, he just looked away, thinking of you as just another pretty girl passing by. But then you stopped by his booth. He groaned, he thought you were gonna confess your feelings for him and he'd have to reject you in a nice way. But instead of saying anything at all, you kissed him. You kissed him, Dick was too shocked to react at first.

He froze, but you kept going. And instead of pushing you away, like he should, he wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you onto his lap, and made out with you like a caveman. What was he doing? Was he crazy? This random girl just kissed him, out of nowhere and he kissed her back, what's wrong with him?

After a minute or so, you got up, and practically ran away, blushing. He was yet again, too dazed to react. What the hell happened?

When he went back home, he couldn't take you out of his head. And the next morning, he did an almost detective research on you, thanks to Bruce's batcave computer. He learned all about your background, and kinda, slightly, might've gotten a little too obsessed. He found out you were in second year, a grade younger than him. And then, he started following you, when he was Nightwing, when he was pretty boy Richard.

He couldn't help it. It was kinda embarrassing though. And he definitely didn't like the word 'stalking'. He was not a stalker. Nuh uh. Not at all. He was just keeping his eyes on you, just uh yknow, to keep you safe.

It was yet another time he had followed you to one of your favourite cafés. He learned so much about you in the last few weeks, your favourite place, your favourite book, and your order everything. He was wearing a cap to not get recognised. But you'd had enough and you confronted him. Oops, busted.
