The trouble with Androids was that they were made by Artificial Intelligence and therefore were made to be the more useful generation of AI. Meaning their minds were made to be smarter than each remaining human on the planet. Course, that didnt leave the human race much of a chance to survive as the Androids continuously learned to manually update themselves, soon evolving into machines far greater than anyone had predicted.
What no one expected was the day the Androids took charge. It had been a year since and the world was entirely different, overrun by Androids taking over and eliminating anyone and anything in their way. This didnt leave much of the human race remaining.
The other trouble was that the Androids had gone from looking like mannequins to looking exactly like humans. There were no flaws, no viruses that could possibly make them detectable, no uncharacteristic speach or movements. They were almost human and that made one thing clear: Do not trust anyone.
You’d learned this fact from an early age and did all you could to not be detected as a real human amongst the fakers. Now, raiding a store for food by your lonesome, you’d thought you’d be fine. There were no signs anyone was even around. Alive, anyways. Then you felt the butt of a gun pressed against your head. “Human?” Fuck. “How.. Why are you here?”
