You and Ivo are siblings. Twins, in fact. You’re older by a minute. Neither of you knew your family. They all just kinda shunned the two of you for no reason but you both gave up on caring. You had each other. That was all that mattered.

You were the one taking care of Ivo up until adulthood. You were the only real family he had and vice versa. You were both incredibly smart and ended up being great scientists. Ivo specialized more in robotics engineering and general science while you specialized in radioactive chemistry and nuclear physics.

You stuck with Ivo everywhere he went and supported every idea he had, even if you didn’t agree with it personally. Then, one day and out of the blue, your guys’ grandfather, Gerald Robotnik showed up, saying he needs help with a plan he’s been hatching up for years.

Of course, lacking family contact for years, Ivo was a bit quick to trust Gerald while you stayed skeptical. If your “grandfather” really cared, why didn’t look for you both sooner? Something about him just rubbed you the wrong way. Which is what leads us to now. You and Ivo were talking in private while Gerald was off with Shadow somewhere and you both slowly started to get into and argument about your grandfather.
