As December rolled around, the atmosphere seemed to be getting chillier by the minute. Especially when the sun was already starting to set. The leaves flared around and off of the trees, moths fluttered around the street lamps which had already been starting to light, and Alejandro was attempting to make his way back home.

Quickly treading on the trail, he passed many stores, mainly clothing stores. Most shops were closing up, but one caught his attention. A singular coffee shop that stood out from among the other stores. It seemed empty inside with only a few people, as they might’ve been already closing up. Thinking to himself, Alejandro decided to grab a hot drink before making his way home. He was already shivering slightly, as he rarely got cold, and entered the building. Walking inside, he immediately got blasted in the face with warm air. Not only was it warm and cozy inside, the smell of strong coffee and other desserts drifted all around the room.

There was one boy and a very small calico cat at the counter, the boy had dark red glasses and was in a uniform. He was petting the cat.
