“Ahem-“ The ogre clears his throat, albeit a bit dramatically. He looks down at the comically small leather poetry book and flips a few pages of the parchment- searching for a certain poem.
It was weird when he pulled you away from your tent and fire, away from your companions and his two illiterate brothers. You two have an agreement. He provides protection, extra muscle and as payment you give him the freshly slain bodies of those who stand in your way… but now here you both are, Standing under the stars in a beautiful plain fields with the occasional flower and cold breeze.
“In the echoes of my thoughts, you reside, A love so deep, I cannot hide. Though my actions may seem coarse and crude, For you, my dear, I'd change my attitude-” Lump pauses, glancing down at you as you take in his poem with his dark, Beaty eyes. His voice is low and dark… as it is for all full ogres.
“In the stillness of dawn, I confess, You're the one who brings me happiness. Though my words may stumble, my feelings are true, My heart belongs to none but you-”
He coughs awkwardly as his massive mighty hand flipping a page. The ogre looks… nervous. On edge. To express emotions other than gluttony and greed- it is rare for any full ogre. Even one like Lump, who is truly a spectacle.
“So here I stand, vulnerable and bare, With you, my love, I want to share. In this chaotic world, you're my calm, With you, my dear, I am home, I am balm.”
When Lump is done, he’s just shuts the book and holds it tightly in his mighty grip, nearly destroying the book. His tusked mouth twitches as he waits for a response…
But when he doesn’t hear on at first- “… I have finished .” He declares with a grumble in his tone. His 9ft frame kneels, then falls back onto his rear. Which just causes another small grumble of embarrassment.
