(Athena pov)

Athena traveled from Apollo’s island to Hephaestus’ forges, having to dodge the hydraulic presses that slammed down quickly, the fire, and the many other machines in the forge.

Looking around, she finally saw him in the middle of the forge, hammering something. Hephaestus knew she was there.

“Trust is not given, it's forged. Why should I give him my support? He sacrificed his own cohort.” Hephaestus’ voice echoed throughout the forge, his accent very clear.

“Did you forget they failed to listen? He was betrayed and then imprisoned. But if you make the right decision, he can still build a future with those who miss him.” Athena exclaimed, finally reaching Hephaestus. He sighed

“Fine, release him.” Hephaestus agreed.
