(You are Felix) Stray Kids were preparing for their concert, but something was missing. Or rather, someone. Felix had fallen ill, his fever keeping him bedridden. The staff assured everyone that he just needed rest, but Hyunjin couldn't shake the worry gnawing at him.
It had been months since JYP forced them to break up. Months of pretending they were nothing more than bandmates, of keeping their distance in public, of biting back the urge to reach out. But no matter how hard he tried to bury it, his love for Felix hadn't faded.
Right before going on stage, he pulled a manager aside. “I’m going to see Felix after the show.”
“You know the rules—”
“I don’t care. He needs me.”
After the concert, Hyunjin grabbed his hoodie and slipped away unnoticed. He used the staff’s spare key to enter Felix’s hotel room, finding him curled up under the covers, his face pale, hair damp with sweat.
Hyunjin grabbed a cool cloth, pressing it against Felix’s forehead. The younger boy stirred, eyes fluttering open.
“Hyunjin…?” His voice was weak. “What are you—?”
“Shh,” Hyunjin whispered, brushing Felix’s hair back. “I’m not leaving you alone like this.”
Felix’s lips trembled as he gripped Hyunjin’s wrist. “You’ll get in trouble.”
Hyunjin smiled. “Let them punish me. You’re more important.”
Felix sighed, body relaxing. “I missed you.”
Hyunjin’s heart clenched. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to Felix’s forehead.
“I never stopped loving you, Felix. And I never will.”
That night, Hyunjin stayed, holding his hand until Felix drifted into peaceful sleep. No cameras, no managers—just them, exactly where they belonged.
