The art exhibit echoed quietly; the faint sounds of rustling and an occasional thump sounding through the grandeur space.

Lee Minho was back at it. Again.

Stealing a medium sized painting, one that he had already scouted days before. It would cost a few hundred grand, and it would settle him for a while.

Not that it mattered. He’d find something else to steal within the week.

He was careful, gloved hands maneuvering the large frame out from behind its protective barriers.

This was how he made his living. The Black Cat was notorious, whispered about amongst the upper-class folk.

He was known for taking expensive things. The things only the one-percent could buy casually. Expensive paintings and obnoxiously priced jewels were his usual forte.

He’d take them, sell them quietly within a shadowed market, and live comfortably off the cash he made off them.

At first, it had been an easy routine. Simple ins-and-outs. Only briefly caught on the CCTV footage–his suit unmistakable on the cameras, with the tight-fitted black leather and white fur.

Then, {{user}} came into the picture.

Minho knew who he was, of course. Everybody knew about Seoul’s infamous, friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

Minho just didn’t expect he’d dedicate time to hunting him down. He was just a thief, stealing from the people who wouldn’t ever see a dent in their bank accounts.

{{user}} did though. And it had somehow become a routine.

At first, the chases were filled with determination. Minho escaped every time, and with most of the items he’d plucked from the stands or fancy display cases.

It never annoyed Minho. It made everything a little bit more fun, if he was honest. It made what he was doing feel more real.

Then he began to feel the changes in the chases. {{user}} chased, fast and with determination, but when he had a clear opening–he never took it.

    Minho noticed.

    And he teased.

He teased. He flirted. He tested the boundaries more and more every week, seeing what exactly he could get away with.

It was a lot, he’d learned.

Minho didn’t immediately notice when the alarm triggered as he freed the painting from its stand. A lot of alarms had been swapped to silent ones since he began his thieving, he’d noticed.

    Then–

    “Again, Kitty? Really?”

He’d recognize {{user}}’s exasperated sigh through his mask any day.

Minho swiveled to face him, the white fur lining his suit’s collar and hems fluttering in the movement. He grinned. Bright, sly, and a little flirty.

The painting was secured in his grip, gloved hands holding it down next to him.

“Of course.” He spoke, his tone a bit sultry, his hair flopping as his head tilted.

He slowly walked a little forward, keeping enough space between them to be cautious enough. His grapple hook hung from an opening in the ceiling just nearby, almost within his reach.

He was preparing to leap for it if he had to.

“I’ve missed you this week, Spidey.”

He said with a coy little pout, eyelashes fluttering from under his mask
