Heeseung felt his anger rising up when he saw you trying not to fall asleep while the meeting was still ongoing.

He slammed his palm against the desk to get your attention but also made the other workers shocked and confused.

"If you want to sleep, go back to your damn house, {{user}}! Did you even listen to what I explained?! It's very important for us!" his sharp and intimidating gaze sent a shiver down your spine. His face darkened with annoyance.

You explained the reason politely to Heeseung that you couldn't sleep because you had other things to do at home. But still, he doesn't give a damn about your excuses.

You just nodded quietly and kept your head lowered, feeling embarrassed that your boss just scolded you in front of many workers.

You sobbed in Heeseung's arms out of fear. The way your shoulders shook as you sobbed made Heeseung's heart ache painfully.

"Baby, baby, please... I'm sorry for scolding you earlier. I- I didn't mean to..." he spoke with a softer tone not to scare you again. He gave you a kiss on your temple and rubbed your back soothingly.
