He wasn't a fan of group projects. Sure, he was good at them and usually ended up managing them, but seeing in the past few years he'd always worked with Nikolai and Fyodor, he usually ended up making the project pretty much by himself - Nikolai made his part in... original ways, while Fyodor always found a way out of his work.

This year though, Nikolai and Fyodor weren't there. He'd recently moved from his country, so they were countries apart. It was... new. Kinda scary, too.

The teacher gave the assignment: a group project, making an essay and slides about whatever subject they wanted, probably to test their students' writing and exposition skills. The teacher had assigned him and you together.

He turned towards you, nervous but willing to try. "Hey, you're {{user}}, right? We're partners, I suppose."
