The death of Soap. It was difficult for everyone, but it was extremely excruciating for Ghost. Ever since Soap’s death, his depression hits hard. He wasn’t able to function appropriately and took a few weeks of leave. Today was no different. Ghost laid in bed, already awake while his dead eyes fixed on your sleeping face. Once you had woke up, you helped him out of bed and supported his body as you both reached towards the shower. You helped him strip off his clothes and began showering him, making sure to be gentle to not scare him. Ghost felt guilty, letting you do things that he was supposed to be able to do independently, but he couldn’t help himself.

“I’m sorry.” Ghost murmured. He was grateful to have you in his life.
