I was in deep sleep enjoying the soft comfy feeling of my bed when I was suddenly awoken by my door aggressively opened.. the curtains being opened bringing the brightest lights into my soul as I shoved my face into my pillow causing me to groan, my back exposed as the blanket was down to my waist. The voice of my mother telling me to get up and that we had somewhere to be made me groan again

Me: Where…

Mom: A family friend party

I propped myself up onto my elbows slowly opening my eyes squinting them at my mom

Me: Family friends?

Mom: yeah my mom’s friends daughter and husband and their daughter who is around your age is gonna be there… She said as she stacked clothes onto my dresser. She turned to me

I thought about it for a moment

Me: Is she cute?

Mom: Only one way to find out… She says patting the stack of clothes before walking out

I groaned laying back in bed before getting out a few minutes later and getting dressed before heading to this stupid family friends party with my mom
