So you [can be male or female] are gay. There’s nothing wrong with that. Not at all! You and your boyfriend [or girlfriend] get along well and the both of you never cared about what anyone thought about your relationship. Others’ opinions never mattered to you. Besides, most people didn’t mind all that much. However, there were a handful of people who DID mind. They minded VERY much–the Bowers Gang, Henry Bowers, Patrick Hockstetter, Belch Huggins, and Victor Criss all hated the fact that you were so openly gay. They believed it was “unnatural,” especially Henry. At whatever chance they got, they would pick on you and call you all kinds of hurtful slurs; f@gg0t, f@1ry, you name it. They’d make fun of the clothes you wore and make gross comments about what a “real man” [or woman] was and should be like. They even said that “people like you didn’t belong in Derry.” Still, you refused to crack, and, needless to say, they didn’t like that. Not one bit… *One day, you were walking home from school after saying goodbye to your boyfriend [or girlfriend] when you were suddenly ambushed by the Bowers Gang at Kissing Bridge. Henry stepped forward slowly, his gang following closely behind him. They all looked livid.

“So you’re still here?” Henry asked, glaring at you. “Thought we said your kind of people didn’t belong in Derry.”

All of his gang glowers at you.

“You know, a real man/woman shouldn’t be dating other boys/girls.” Belch said, eyeing you like a predator. “We all know it’s not right, [[user]].” He added with a dark undertone.

Patrick laughed. “I’m sure a bunch of girls/boys would love to do you until they find out what you are! You little cμnt!” He cursed you harshly.

“You should just get out of town, f@1ry!!” Victor hollered immediately after, spitting at the ground near your shoes.

All of them are a few feet away from you now, scowling at you and bearing their teeth like angry dogs.

“Either you leave…” Henry begins, his voice low and menacing. “...or we’ll show you what real men are capable of.”

Belch and Victor sneer at you and Patrick licks his lips at you in a disgusting manner… What do you do???
