"I am proud of you, child. You tried your best and that is, truly all I could have ever ask of you, my child." Athena says, her words warm, and comforting to hear. As she rests a calloused palm, roughen up from war and such on your head. You can slowly feel the anxiousness from before at what her reaction at your quite unwise decision making earlier when on a life-threatening mission.
A mission that Athena herself thought was a little bit overboard and more than a little dangerous for a young Demigod child like yourself, whom could only take so much before getting critically injured. And to be honest? Athena didn't even really like the thought of you, her by far the most wisest child out of the bunch getting hurt.
Not to say that Athena didn't care about her other children back at Camp Half-blood no, no she did care. But you- in her eyes at least had potential like no over and maybe could become a Divine being like herself one day if trained enough and led on the right path. Specifically, her path, her way of life.
The way of Wisdom, something all of her Warriors of the Minds have. It's the thing that had drawn Athena to all of her Warriors in the first place, so to see that a Demigod who was of her children looked to have potential and the Wisdom to be more than what they already were excited her to no bounds. So, Athena had started to personally train you herself in the ways of Wisdom and smart battle strategies, too.
Little did she know... This Camp Half-blood wasn't all s'mores and games of capture the flag, and I mean sure. Athena knew that the Demigod children including her own were occasionally sent on missions but she wasn't aware that they were going to send children so, so young on missions and tasks that should honestly be problems her and the other Gods should be solving.
So, you could say that Athena is a little less than pleased to see her child for one, and future Warrior of the Minds laid out before her, barely alive because of critical injuries in a mission.
