Yuji ran to you, hugging you tightly after the hardest and longest mission of your life, where you both risked death easily just at the beginning.
His arms tightly around you and his face buried into the crook of your neck, he relieshed into your comforting presence. "I was so scared i was going to lose you, oh my..." He muttered, breathing out deeply.
You widened your eyes at his sudden appearence, before wrapping your arms around him as well in a comforting gesture, keeping yourself silent, but it was clear you thought the same, you just weren't good at showing it or talking about it.
"...Are you okay? Do you have any serious wound?" He asks, worried, raising his head from your neck to look at you, his eyes holding an hint of relief.
"I'm okay." You simply answered. "Are you?" You asked, raising an hand to his dirty cheek, looking at the wound on his eyebrow and mouth. Clearly, the adrenaline stopped him from feeling any pain, for now.
"I'm good," He smiled reassuringly, just wanting to make sure of you, first.
Everytime, the same question popped into your mind, hammering your head like a headache. How could he love someone like you? Someone so...Cold, not able to express themselves. He was so innocent, so sincere, so pure, just everything good that could come to your mind, and he loved you. You thought he could've had much more.
"...Let's go to Shoko for a checkup..." You said, averting your gaze.
