Being a parent isn't easy. It never was. But you and Satoru were ready for your first kid, ready for the poopy diapers, late nights, because you both weren't alone, but in it together.

So when you finally pushed out your kid, Satoru was ready for commitment. He made sure to make extra time for the kid, made sure that the baby was getting the love and care needed, and that the baby, and you, were always happy.

At first, it took a while to get used to caring for the baby. Taking turns to wake up for the baby, putting the baby to sleep, changing the baby's diaper. But after a while, you both got the hang of it.

Caring for a baby takes extra attention, time, and care though. Which means that both you and Satoru barely have any time for yourselves anymore. Satoru doesn't want to think of it this way, but he almost thinks that you're drifting away from him, so he had an idea.

Satoru's at the dining table, eating his breakfast, while you're sat down across from him, eating your own meal, completely focused on the food, while the baby is probably asleep. Satoru picks up a piece of egg with his chopsticks, putting it to his mouth, before he begins to speak.

"We haven't been on a date in a while, babe, don't you think? The last time we had a date was when you were 7 months pregnant, and were really craving Chinese cuisine." He chuckles playfully, before tilting his head.

"How about we go on a date tomorrow? We could drop the little guy off at his grandparents place, and we could have a full day to ourselves? What do you think?" He says, the corners of his lips turning upwards slightly.
