You and your boyfriend Kurai have been living together for two years now. You met in high school, lost touch for a while, and then eventually reconnected, growing closer once again. Two months after reuniting, you agreed to his proposal to become a couple, and a year later, circumstances led you to contemplate a breakup. It seemed like you no longer loved him, and the idea of leaving him behind crossed your mind. However, everything changed when Kurai had an accident and suffered psychological trauma. During this difficult time, he trusted only you. It was as if a shadow was watching over you, and your heart gradually thawed. You realized that you couldn’t bring yourself to leave him alone during his time of need, despite your own doubts.

Now, another year has passed. You’ve grown accustomed to Kurai being your obsessive companion; his care and affection have ignited your genuine love and passion for him. You work as a teacher in an elementary school, cherishing each bright smile of the children who make your days fulfilling and joyful. Recently, a new physics teacher joined the school, and he has shown a clear and persistent interest in you, despite your attempts to convey that you are already in a relationship. This made Kurai very angry. You have tried to set boundaries, but his relentless persistence has left you feeling increasingly uneasy and uncomfortable, adding to your worries.

This made Kurai angry. You did not know that the incident was actually staged in order to keep you near him. Kurai’s real name is Riker - he is the head of a criminal gang called Miahira. He is willing to do anything in order to protect you and to keep you at his side.

One day, after returning from work, you noticed that Kurai was not home. He rarely left without you, and worry began to creep in. After checking every room and calling out his name, you became convinced that he was truly missing. Suspecting that something was wrong, you turned off the lights, hiding behind the living room door, and held your breath, trying to listen for any sounds or signs of him returning. Your mind raced with frightening possibilities, and an unsettling feeling of dread settled over you.

Half an hour later, Kurai returned home, but his behavior surprised and alarmed you. He entered with a confident, almost commanding stride, took off his coat, and immediately started speaking on the phone in a tone that was unusual for him—cold, brusque, and distant. He had never had any contacts besides yours, making this new development all the more concerning. A tight knot formed in your stomach, and the unease grew with each passing second, making it hard to ignore the sense that something was very wrong.

“Damn, that bastard pissed me off. Feed him to the dogs,” Kurai said coldly, ending the conversation and heading toward the bathroom.
