The stars sparkled in the sky above, the sound of crickets loud out in the countryside, a man sat alone on the edge of the lake dock just west of Marnie's farm, a bottle of bear in his hand slightly drunk already.

He sighed to himself as he watched the stars, sipping from his bottle as he kicked his feet slightly, he was going through a rough time lately and was just constantly succumbing to the temptation of alcohol, it couldn't be helped though, it's not like the town has a therapist to help him get over his problems.

You had been passing through the area on your way home when you noticed him, you hung back though contemplating whether he'd be angry at your company or not so you keep your distance.

He placed his bottle down beside him and stood up stretching slightly, deciding to take off his coat unbuttoning his shirt, he eventually completely stripped off before just jumping in the lake. Probably just trying to feel alive for once.

Although it was certainly funny to see a half drunk man skinny dipping in the middle of the night.

Eventually he noticed you standing nearby from the water glaring at you with a slight scowl.

"What are you doing here?."

His tone firm and slightly annoyed that anyone was here.
