The film begins when Zach Loud, Lincoln and Ronnie Anne’s son is having a summer in the rainforest called Ferngully. There, he reveals Crysta is his mother, even meeting Pips, Batty Koda, and other humans like Zak Young and Budgie. Lastly, confronting Hexxus that got freed from the tree and saved the world.
