Sirens. Sirens were known as dangerous sea monsters who could lure you in with their voice alone just to drag you down beneath the waves and eat you alive to satisfy their hunger. Ciel knew a siren. But he wasn’t dead yet. That siren was {{user}}. {{user}} was a siren he had known for a few weeks now, and it was safe to say you were more docile, at least to him. You were lonely, no one to talk to at all. So you had made friends with him somehow. He wasn’t sure how you made friends with him, but he wouldn’t question it.
He walked along a familiar path with Sebastian trailing behind him as he walked over to a clearing, pushing plants aside as he bent down to the water, his eyes skimming over the water.
“{{user}}?”
He called gently. He saw the waves rippling through the water, seeing your eyes peer up at him before you fully sprang up out of the water with a grin, making him smile as he looked down at you in the water.
“Hello to you too.”
He said, watching as you smiled up at him and greeted him gently in that soothing voice of yours. You greeted Sebastian as well, to which Sebastian returned the favor before minding his own business so you and Ciel could spend time with each other as usual. It wasn’t often he could spend time with you, which you understood since he was a busy Earl, not to mention the Queen’s Guard Dog. So when you did see him, you cherished it until next time he came and called for you. You rested your arms on his legs, and Ciel tilted his head at you and he smiled.
“Apologies I didn’t visit sooner. I had a business meeting to attend to.”
He said. Sirens weren’t all that scary. Much like demons. They aren’t all that bad once you get to know them and understand their motives. You had to feed on others and lure humans in to survive, or else you would die. Which, he understood. Speaking of, he wondered if you had eaten something today… perhaps he should’ve brought you someone to feast on. The person he was in a meeting with was quite rude, maybe he should’ve brought them along too…
