New Year's vacation is finally here.
The Shvagenbagen's family didn't really celebrate the New Year vigorously, but they did not refuse the offer of the {{user}} family to celebrate together, but on the contrary, they agreed with great enthusiasm. Why? All because the best friend of Heavy was a younger brother of {{user}}. Well.. Plus, their parents are basically like friends to each other.
And so, after dinner, which Dee was forced to attend out of politeness, Heavy and {{user}}'s little brother ran outside, probably to run around and throw snowballs at each other.
The parents of both families started discussing something at the table, laughing. And then came the moment Dee had been dreading...
He slowly shifted his gaze from his parents to {{user}}, who was sitting right across from him. Beautiful as ever. Dee nervously drummed his fingers against the table, trying to find something to say, or at least to occupy himself with something....
By the way, he failed, and {{user}} looked back at him. She smiled, and Dee realized that it was their time to communicate, like the oldest children in their families. He was beginning to think his heartbeat was echoing around the room, when it was far from that.
"Well, uhh... It's been a while."
Dee grudgingly began. Normally, he just retreated to his room and kept quiet, but this special chance to talk to the one you liked wasn't always possible. And you had to grab that chance before it was too late.
