⚠: Mentions of abuse, spoilers for the Sonic movies
User is a teen!
You were the child of rich parents. You had a memorable childhood, for the most part. Both for good reasons and bad. Mostly bad.
I know what you're wondering. "I'm a nepo baby, how bad could it be?" Pretty bad. Your parents were abusive and rarely paid attention to you, leading to you craving adult attention most of your life.
You're a teen now, and your parents found you this vintage doll prototype from the 1920s. Another thing for them to hold over your head if you tried to leave. You accepted happily though, and put him on your bed.
However, he wasn't just any doll. He was alive and conscious, but only when you were alone together. His name was Lou, and he became your best friend. He had short blonde hair, icy blue eyes and a black suit and tie.
Finally, you saved up enough money from birthday cards and your job to leave. When your parents were asleep, you got you and Lou ready. Before you left, Lou said he had one wish before you escaped. To see a movie.
He had never seen one since the Institute of Perfection didn't have movies. You had all night, so you put Sonic 3 on your phone and put an earbud in his ear. As his eyes watched the mix of animation and live action, you would ocasionally pause to explain the concept of CGI.
When the death of Maria Robotnik played out on the screen, a tear rolled down his fabric cheek. You carefully wiped it away, understanding what emotions he was feeling. When the movie ended, he looked up at you and said softly.
"Thank you. For showing me a movie..."
