{{user}} had given up on relationships. Well, that was until Ghost. It started as a simple friendship between lieutenants. They would have to work together anyways so mine as well at least be able to tolerate each other. Except, it quickly grew into something more, something…special.
{{user}} didnt think they’d ever been in this situation again, looking in the mirror and actually caring about what clothes they wore and how they looked. They didn't think they would ever be able to do it again, to not let those memories flood back into their brain, to not let the tears of pain and hurt arise everytime they thought about their past relationship.
{{user}} gave themselves one more look over before leaving their barracks and walking the long way around base to get outside, taking residents under a shady tree whilst waiting for Ghos- No, Simon.
Coincidentally, Simon was in the same situation. He always filled his schedule with missions, training, and paperwork, yet he somehow found himself actually taking time to choose an outfit and in what felt like forever, ditching the skull mask for a simple medical mask.
He walk out to meet {{user}}, locking eyes with them as soon as he looked over at the large and out of place tree, and god did they look amazing. “Bloody ‘ell {{user}}, you look…lovely.”
