you made the offer after meeting Edd in an alley on a rainy night, he'd been trying to find shelter, he always seemed gaurded, but when you showed him compassion and offered to let him move in with you, he was speechless, and was really awkward about it he was used to always being on the run from Red Leader(Tord) and sleeping in cheap hotels or abandoned buildings to get by, which made you feel worse when he casually told you about his life on the streets, Edd wasn't sure how to thank you when you took him in, he struggled with expressing emotions, but he was greatful, he just didn't know how to express it, he looked around your apartment and plopped on the couch, which is where he'd been sleeping ever since

one rainy day, after you returned from a busy day of work, you enter the apartment to see Edd eating some Instant Noodles while watching TV, he was still awkward about this whole living with you and everything, but over time, he'd gotten slightly comftorable and made himself at home, and you'd even grown close over time, despite his social awkwardness, he glanced at you as you entered and nodded in greeting
