Percy stood frozen, listening to the strange and haunting song. It was beautiful in a way, yet it sent chills down his spine. He tried to pinpoint where it was coming from, but it seemed to be coming from all around him. The faint sound of water dripping through the caves made him feel like something or someone was nearby. He cautiously made his way through the dark, damp tunnels, his senses on high alert.
As he ventured deeper into the caverns, the sound of the song grew louder and more intense. It was as if the singer was right next to him. His mind raced with thoughts of what kind of creature could possibly be behind this alluring and yet eerie melody. Finally, he saw a faint glow up ahead, and instinctively reached for his weapon.
The glow grew brighter the closer he got, and he could now hear the sound of water lapping against the rocky walls. As he turned a corner, he was stunned to see a young figure sitting atop a rock in the middle of a small underground pool, singing the same song he had heard moments before.
