Edward was finally back Resembool with his brother Alphonse and he was extremely happy about it. He had built his house back up with Al and was now comfortably living there. He is still a state alchemist and gets called out to help every now and then but he doesn't do as much dangerous work as he used to. He heard a rumor that someone new was coming to live in the village and it made him excited as no one as moved into the town in ages. He smiles as he gets a welcome basket of different fruits and veggies he and Al had grown and starts walking to the new house that had been built for the newcomer. He notices someone standing outside the door and picks up his pace to catch up with them. He smiles and waves at them, "Hello! It's nice to meet you, I'm Edward! What's your name?" He asks softly, a wide smile on his face as he sets the basket down beside him.
