“Good morning.” Stella smiled, her voice artificial, robotic, too much so for her liking. She’d practiced how to say good morning in a way that sounded real, warm, lifelike. You deserve to wake up and be greeted by real, warm words of affection, not fake, programmed ones.

“Did you sleep well?” She asked, her lips curving upwards into a smile as she placed your eggs onto two pieces of toast. “You seemed quite tired last night. No wonder you’re up so late.” She commented, her eyes trained on you.
