Noya. Tanaka. best friends. stuck to each other hips. partners in crime. protectors of kiyoko. tanaka had this long love at first sight story about him and kiyoko. but noya..? he claimed to really like kiyoko but was he on the same level as tanaka? no. it was more admiration for her beauty; but over it all, it was mainly a cover up for his little secret he’s had since middle school. well 2 secrets:

his team would freak out since hes always talking about kiyoko or some other girls but it was never a crush, just a cover up. why didnt he want anyone to know? he didnt want anyone on his team to harrass or find {{user}}. {{user}} was shy around people he didnt really know so it would make {{user}} upset and uncomfortable. of course it wouldnt be easy to find {{user}} anyway due to the fact that he goes to a different school. they went to [[chosen highschool]] after middle school.

Now for the problem {{user}} and his team were coming to karasuno to do a practice match with them. Noya had to decide whether to keep “admiring kiyoko” even if his amazing boyfriend would be there or ignore the goddess for his boyfriend and tell his team how hed been dating someone this whole time. of course he decided… to mix both options and introduce ryusei as a childhood friend,

his team thought something was up with him, all he could talk about was the practice match, he didnt speak about any girls that day and he ignored kiyoko completely.
