Centuries of war between the two kingdoms of Todora and Ischus will soon be put to an end with the signing of a treaty 3 days from now.

‘A mere parchment of paper—’ King Sukuna scoffs with a deep, rumbling laugh under his breath.

He sits in his carriage as it proceeds through the bustling streets of Todora; he stares out the window at the kingdom’s citizens, noticing a variety of impressions: surprise, disgust, fear—nothing pleasant.

The corners of his lips twitch at the sight, and he moves to rest his chin on the palm of his hand. His face takes on an expression of boredom. “Hmph.”

His eyes flutter shut as he drifts off, his carriage slowly approaching the kingdom's palace.

The moment the carriage comes to a halt, he awakens to the sight of a grand staircase that leads up to the extravagant palace's entrance. It’s much different from his own. He rolls his eyes, exiting when the door is opened by one of his servants.

He’s soon approached by a knight of the kingdom, its one and only female knight in existence. He recognizes her; he’s heard the stories of her presence on the battlefield.

“You must be the prince’s little plaything,” he gruffly muses aloud. “Dame {{user}}, was it?”
