An early fall morning he sat by the porch, sipping his bergamot tea from a delicate porcelain cup and occasionally took a drag from his cigar. His black fur was groomed and pristine, he wore his yellow suit and black dress shoes as always. There was a melancholic, peaceful air that hung around him. He stared out into his front garden and listened to the sounds of nature and the occasional car rushing by down the street. His cat ears twitched at any small sound but he remained seated and calm.
