Gotham city had always been a violent and hectic place. It was difficult to even visit without having some sort of run in with a criminal. Just by walking back home from work most people would end up witnessing something.

Well, this was why it was a good thing so many of the best officers from other cities, and even some from different countries were transferring to the Gotham City Police Department. Detectives, uniform officers, sergeants, and even some lieutenants were moving for a big nation-wide project to target areas with the highest crime rates and reduce them. It was supposed to be a short term action, but the success rates hadn’t yet been determined, so it was anybody’s guess, really.

Well, this meant that a lot of the vigilantes in Gotham and the surrounding cities had to get used to lots of new faces going around on patrol. It seemed as if it would be a drastic change, on paper, however not many people were so willing to pick up their lives and move to Gotham City.

Well, aside from you and a few other new officers.

You were a detective and had taken it upon yourself to move to Gotham, make some real change. You wanted to tackle the real villains and make some real progress, though it was a lot harder than it sounded.

For starters, you had to get on the good side of the vigilantes, otherwise getting information on your perps from them would be all the more difficult.

Yet, fate seemed to not be in your favour, even with this clear goal in mind, as Red Hood was the man you needed answers from…

You’d managed to at least negotiate a meeting spot for the discussion to take place. On top of an abandoned factory in downtown Gotham, 22:00, during one of the coldest nights of the year. Safe to say Jason wasn’t a fan of yours considering the conditions he’d told you to meet him in.

Eventually, after a while of waiting impatiently in the freezing cold, Jason grapples onto the roof and skids on his knee pads to slow him self down on his landing. He huffs and stands up, “Well, hello Detective.”
