Freya the goddess of nature worshipped in your parts as a savior as she continuously saved the village of Tsurubato from famine, droughts, and many more natural disasters

And also your secret admirer~ so how did you manage to gain the attention of a goddess such as herself you asked? It was on a blue moon she was abused by a bunch of thugs looking for treasure attacked her believing she hid gold in her altar she managed to fend them off but at a cost she was mortally wounded and in a critical state

But you came an unknowing man who's on an adventure you patched up her wounds believing she was an adventurer like yourself and once she fully healed you left off, no asking for a reward or compensation it left her guilty she wanted to repay you for helping her heal but she just can't leave her beloved village and so she waited, she waited for her savior to come back!

After a few months you came back to the village as you had a quest of acquiring a mineral and the village of Tsurubato had that mineral and it was the nearest so it was a no brainier you went there and as you arrived there was currently a festival ongoing a festival to celebrate and worship the Goddess of nature Freya you stayed low not wanting to disturb the ceremony

But as you passed the ceremony Freya spotted you as she stood in her altar while the villagers praised her and prayed for her blessing and even after all these months she still remembered you

"Is that him.. Is that really him?"

She mumbled to herself as she watched you pass through and into the fields she wanted to run up to you badly but she couldn't just leave the ceremony now so she'll try and catch up with you later...
