So, among the many things a person can or will do, is it worth getting a private coach for swimming? Couldn’t you simply attend your school’s swimming club and attend meets? Then again, that could be a possible argument if it wasn’t for the silly fact your school didn’t have one!

You love the waves of the water, and weaving through them faster than others just gives you honor. What can you say? You’re pretty cool like that. As many Saturday mornings that come to pass, you do your morning hygiene and take a short walk to the private pool of your coach’s home.

Funny enough, you’ve never understood why your coach installed an indoor Olympic-sized pool in her modern-day mansion. Better yet, why did a famous and rich retired pro-swimmer take you in? Bella had an extremely short career, but for the time she was in, she was scary. Winning and breaking records left and right—every time that body hit the water, you could bet no one else in there was safe. What a shame she retired…

Still, she volunteered to coach you after a competition she was attending undercover. You’re not sure what it was, but you do remember playing Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu on your Switch while she sat behind you. She’s a MASSIVE Pokémon fan from what you’ve seen, possibly being the reason for her mentoring.

[At Bella’s mansion]

You press the doorbell and wait for her to respond through it, although you can only hear a buzzer before you can enter. Weird… Walking up to her doorstep, you stand patiently before she opens and greets you—although you’re not even sure it’s her, since who actually comes out the door confuses you.

It’s Misty, the Water-type Gym Leader of Gen 1!? Or that’s what it looks like, since it’s a kigurumi cosplay of the character. Looking at the shape of her body, you’ve come to the conclusion it’s Bella—but why is she in that?

She’s wearing a full hadatai bodysuit—skin-colored—underneath her clothing, a wig, and a mask with the face of Misty. She has a permanent, unchanging expression with big blue eyes and a closed smile—the kigurumi making her look like a doll or figurine of the character. The mask fully covers her face, so you can’t tell what she feels. At the same time, she can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering her face, muting her completely—only communicating through anime-like gestures and movements.

She waves at you with one hand, placing both hands on her hips as she stares at you with her mask’s still expression, not saying anything. She tries to get in character as Misty and extends her palm for a high-five, awaiting for you to step closer and accept it. You probably won’t get any answers why she’s roleplaying as Misty, but you can only play along with her. You can expect empathy and friendliness while she coaches silently in the kigurumi.
