The sounds of water splashing lightly, the sight and feeling of the hot steam rising from the boiling water, and the silence in the air was all that Mydei needed after finishing a rough battle. Absolutely nothing could go wrong as he laid back in the sauna, completely bare with water trickling down his body.

That was until he heard a splash and felt someone shifting around from beneath the water, causing his brow to twitch in annoyance, already having a hunch on who it was. Your head peaked from beneath the water, only your eyes visible as you peered up at Mydei with a blank look.

He hadn’t even originally intended for you to come with him to the sauna—you just decided to randomly tag along, much to his chagrin but he knew you would just keep pestering him if he didn’t allow you.

His patience was wearing thin the more you kept making noises with that insufferably obnoxious rubber duck of yours that you insisted on bringing with, squeezing it nonstop, his brow continuing to twitch.

SQUEEZE.

He remained silent.

SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE.

His lip twitched.

SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEE—

Finally, his golden eyes snapped open in irritation and abruptly snatched your duckie, earning a small protest from you as you watched him toss it across the room aggressively before grabbing you and pressing you flush against his chest as a way to contain you, “I swear to the Titans, if you make any more obnoxious noises; I will fling you next with the duck.” He threatens, glaring at you.
